When it comes to learning how to sail, there are two routes you can take with BE-Nautical.
As an accredited American Sailing Association (ASA) school, you can work through all your ASA certifications and take any course with us (though we recommend starting with 101).
If you’ve always wanted to try sailing, but aren’t sure where the adventure will take you, BE-Nautical offers its own classes as well.

Wilmette Harbor
Getting there
The Wilmette Harbor is located within Gilson Park. Sheridan Road is your option.
Parking
Once inside the park’s main entrance, you’ll pass the Wilmette Harbor Association building on your right and the park’s host on the left. Immediately after the host and at the fork, bear left and park along the left side of the road. An alternative parking area is along Michigan Avenue, which runs along the southwestern edge of the part.
Waukegan Harbor
Getting there
Larsen Marine is located on the way to the Waukegan Public Beach. Just a short walk from the Metra Train Station, Larsen Marine is the largest marina on the Lake. Once you’re just inside the gate, call Captain Brian, he’ll help you with parking and direct you to the boat.
Parking
Enter at the main gate, once inside you’ll notice the Ships Store. Turn left ahead of the store and park along the brokerage boat area or in-between the showroom building and the building directly to the left.
