Anchoring Skills

Description

Anchoring is another skill that is as much a science as an art. Safely anchoring your boat in both leisurely and demanding situations is critical. Whether to take a break or when something brakes, your anchor is the only way to “park a boat” away from the dock. You’ll learn essential skills to recognize and choose a safe anchorage, preparing your boat and crew to set the anchor and critical skills while at anchor to ensure you stay put. This is a perfect skill for cruisers and those planning to cruise. It is also a crucial skill for crew unfamiliar with the techniques.
