Advanced Coastal Cruising
Description
Able to safely act as skipper and crew of a sailing vessel about 30 to 50 feet in length in coastal and inland waters, in any conditions. This course extends seasoned sailing skills learned over a few to several years upon the water. It encapsulates all prior ASA Certifications. Designed as a multi-day course with a potential lake crossing or distance coastal cruise, so expect a rigorous multi-day sail with an overnight watch.

Three day session, including a distance cruise (lake crossing or extended coastal cruise).

Prerequisite:
The ability to demonstrate competencies in all knowledge and skills elements of those standards.
We recommend candidates at this level have had a few years sailing, perhaps even chartering to make this learning the most relevant.
